The Foundation serves three purposes:

To preserve and promote knowledge and public awareness of Iñupiat cultural traditions of people from the village of Wainwright.

To provide scholarships to encourage the educational, occupational, and creative pursuits of Alaska Native children and adults who are enrolled as Olgoonik Corporation shareholders and their descendants.

To provide assistance to Alaska Native People in Wainwright who are experiencing terminal illness or have lost a loved one.
